No, Life Among the Nations classes and activities are open to international students and scholars from any nation or religious background.
Who is Life Among the Nations affiliated with?
We are affiliated with Southern Baptists serving the ASU international community.
What is the difference between "Life Among the Nations" and "Caring for Internationals"?
"Caring for Internationals" is the official ASU club name for the conversational English classes we offer. "Life Among the Nations" is the umbrella title incorporating both service to internationals at ASU, but also for training all Arizona Southern Baptists on how to better serve the internationals in their own community.
What is the purpose of the international Bible discussions?
It is for the curious student to be able to make informed decisions about God, the Bible, and Christianity.
Do you offer help for the wives and children of international students?
We work with a group of women from Church on Mill (www.churchonmill.com) who offer activities on Wed. mornings during the school year. You can also get in contact with Sarah Sanders: sarahsanders@excite.com
Will you pray for me?
Yes! Please feel free send your prayer requests to Jan Lows and our volunteers will pray for you and your family. We know it is a very stressful time living away from home.
