We Love International Students!

Hi, and welcome to ASU! We hope you are settling into your new life in Tempe. We know that it can be hard and even scary to be so far from home and family all while feeling the pressure of your studies and the need to perform well. We understand, because we were once international students too, and since 2005 we have walked alongside thousands of international students at ASU.

We are a club for you, and we serve students physically, emotionally, and spiritually. For many internationals, Life Among the Nations (LATN) becomes their family and home away from home during their studies in Arizona. Some of our volunteers are retired grandparents, and they become like aunties and grandmothers to our students.

Too many students try to muscle their way through their degrees on their own and neglect their relational and spiritual needs. That’s why we don’t only provide free food and free furniture, we also provide opportunities to make friends, explore Arizona, and discuss the deep things of life.

You can get connected to all this at our weekly Friday night meeting where we have a free dinner, play games, and engage in Bible discussions. Students of all religions are welcome, and we never pressure anyone to change their mind or beliefs. Our students find that LATN is a safe and welcoming environment to consider spiritual matters and be cared for in a holistic way. We hope you will join us!

Throughout the semester, we also help students escape the campus to get out and explore Arizona! Check out some pictures of our meetings and adventures below, and follow us on Instagram to stay up-to-date on our next events!
